Our trademark is in our consistency. All of our wedges are made identical with the same great feel day after day, year after year, decade after decade.
The only change to any of our wedges is the loft. This consistency produces our distinctive feel and gives players the advantage of knowing exactly how each of their wedges will feel. In fact, each wedge regardless of loft, or color, has identical:
- Frequency - Total Weight - Kick Point - Balance Point - Swing Weight -Total Weight -Feel
Each 36" wedge is in perfect balance. Just place your finger under the first step and watch it balance. Women's clubs are lighter, shorter and can balance differently depending on the type of shaft we use, but are the same 100% consistent and well balanced. Additionally, you should know that each club we make for the consumer and sold in golf shops, be it a wood or iron, is identical as to what is sent to Tour Players. There is no bait and switch here. Our shafts are made to our own specifications by each of our shaft suppliers and prior to assembly are "Tuned". Our shafts are different than any shaft made. All shafts mass produced may look a like, but they're not. No two shafts mass produced are the same and are as individual as human fingerprints.
Our shafts can be used equally well by a Tour Player or a 90 year old (see our shaft overview section) 30 handicapper. Our "Shaft Tuning" method used is as closely guarded as the Coca Cola formula. (See attached shaft study attachment)
"Lee Miller Signature" Wedge Finishes, the QPQ and Matte Satin Chrome are available in RH only.
See sole design picture ~ Our patented wedge sole has been used by many top players over the last 20 years.
The bounce angle is on the trailing edge, and does not come into play until its needed, as in deep rough or the bunker. This design can prevent those skulled and/or fat shots in and around the green.
The depth bounce on the leading edge assists in self locating the centerline of the ball at impact. It also helps part the sand and/or rough much like the bow on a speed boat knifes through the water. The conventional leading edge found on most off the shelf wedges is a like a tug boat or barge, that must plow its way through the water and why so often you'll see players trying to chop their way out the deep rough, but not so much with our sole design.
