Our trademark is in our consistency. All of our wedges are made identical with the same great feel day after day, year after year, decade after decade.
The only change to any of our wedges is the loft. This consistency produces our distinctive feel and gives players the advantage of knowing exactly how each of their wedges will feel. In fact, each wedge regardless of loft, or color, has identical:
- Frequency - Total Weight - Kick Point - Balance Point - Swing Weight -Total Weight -Feel
Each 36" wedge is in perfect balance. Just place your finger under the first step and watch it balance. Women's clubs are lighter, shorter and can balance differently depending on the type of shaft we use, but are the same 100% consistent and well balanced. Additionally, you should know that each club we make for the consumer and sold in golf shops, be it a wood or iron, is identical as to what is sent to Tour Players. There is no bait and switch here. Our shafts are made to our own specifications by each of our shaft suppliers and prior to assembly are "Tuned". Our shafts are different than any shaft made. All shafts mass produced may look a like, but they're not. No two shafts mass produced are the same and are as individual as human fingerprints.
Our shafts can be used equally well by a Tour Player or a 90 year old (see our shaft overview section) 30 handicapper. Our "Shaft Tuning" method used is as closely guarded as the Coca Cola formula. (See attached shaft study attachment)
Wedge Finishes
NOTE: Our club finishes are also unique: We do not plate any finish, and each finish has distinctive advantages for the player. Our irons or wedges can be bent by 5 degrees without affecting the bounce angle.
Gun Metal: Our Gun Metal finish uses a "Reverse Plasma Ion Impregnation" process fro the slippery finish. This finish makes the sole "slippery" through impact. The finish wears quickly into the sole, helping the metal stay slippery forever. Drag Co-Efficient is 0.65. Competing wedges measure 0.88.
Satin: Is a standby of the old standard classic wedge and is among our most popular. This is the only model offered in left handed 46-73 degree wedges. Drag is 0.84.
Designer: Here is the winner! Our colorful, Designer wedges are not only highly distinctive, but they also provide another unusual benefit - they actually improve a player's focus and concentration With the slippery black gun metal sole and the face contrasting to the head color, the player's focus is brought back to the task at hand. Continual concentration is the key to a good short game. Drag Co-Efficient is the same as on our Gun Metal at 0.65.
