Feel Golf Makes Debut into the Re-Max Long Drive Competition
August 2 (Hanford, CA) - Nick "Sputnik" Miller, the 17-year-old Monterey, CA phenomenon, competed in the Re-Max Long Drive event using a USGA.83 COR conforming Dr. Feel Titanium Series, 8 degree driver with a Harrison shaft made specifically by Feel Golf. Miller uncorked a winning drive of 393 yards to take first place by 30 yards over the second place finisher of 363 yards. The range length was 400 yards and on two occasions the ball carried on the fly over the fence and was unable to be located! Miller historically has used a specially made Titleist driver with 4 degrees loft and in August 2000, at the age of 15, set the Amateur World Long Drive Record of 449 yards and 2 inches, eclipsing the old record of 396 yards. When asked how the new Dr. Feel drivers compared with his record setting Titleist driver, Miller stated, "These new Dr Feel drivers are awesome and are the best drivers I have ever used. WOW....the ball just explodes off the face!" Miller now moves to the Re-Max World Final Qualifiers in Mesquite, Nevada. Back to Press Releases
